Western Australia’s renowned Margaret River Region will host a new homegrown culinary event in 2024, showcasing the region’s world-class food and wine offerings, paired with music.

Pair’d Margaret River Region will take place on Wadandi (Saltwater) country from November 14 to 17, 2024, and is intended to become an annual staple on the State’s major homegrown events calendar.

The program is set to feature a series of premium events in iconic destinations and wineries across the Margaret River Region, as well as collaborations with some of the region’s world-renowned chefs, winemakers and sommeliers.

Celebrating the uniqueness of the Margaret River Region, Pair’d will tantilise tastebuds with a dreamlike blend of incredible local produce paired with wines harvested from local vines, accompanied by live music on nature’s stage.

Pair’d is an exciting addition to Australia’s culinary event calendar, with the announcement following the recent launch of a second direct flight from the east coast to the Margaret River Region, with the Sydney to Busselton Jetstar route joining the existing Melbourne to Busselton service, making it even easier for east coast visitors to attend the new event.

Owned by the WA Government, Pair’d will be produced by Mellen Events and We Are Gather, along with sub-contracted regional events company Ahoy Management, in collaboration from the teams’ responsible for the successful delivery of other iconic WA events such as the Ord Valley Muster, Cabin Fever Festival, Dark Sky Festival, and Fine Vines Festival.

Located just a 2.5-hour drive south of Perth, the Margaret River Region in is the only premium wine region in Australia that combines world-class food and wine with pristine beaches, tall-timber forests, renowned surf breaks and ancient caves.
