Ethiopian Airlines has announced the appointment of Bezawit Tassew as its new Regional Director for the India Subcontinent, effective April 01, 2024. Bezawit will be based in Mumbai, where she will oversee the airline’s operations and growth strategy in the region.
Bezawit brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having joined Ethiopian Airlines on August 26, 2002. Over the years, she has served in various positions within the airline, including in Marketing and Sales, Manager Customer Relations, and most recently as the Area Manager for Rwanda. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management.
Her extensive experience and expertise are expected to contribute significantly to Ethiopian Airlines’ operations in the Indian Subcontinent, enhancing the airline’s presence and services in the region.
Ethiopian Airlines has been experiencing rapid growth, expanding its network, upgrading its services, and introducing new-generation Boeing aircraft. The airline has also been at the forefront of adopting state-of-the-art technology and programs to stay ahead in the ever-evolving airline industry.
