The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India (Northern Region) organised a FAM trip for travel trade members mostly Inbound Tour Operators and Domestic Tour Operators to Alwar and Sariska with the aim to get first-hand knowledge and experience on December 17-18, 2023.
On the first day of the trip, the travel trade members were taken to Alwar city and visited Govt Museum, Moosi Rani ki Chhattari, Sagar Lake, Bala Fort, and Moti Doongari amongst others.
A Tourism Stakeholders Conference was organised for the tourism fraternity, in which travel trade members, members of the hotel industry, tourist guides, officers of the Ministry of Tourism, Rajasthan Tourism, Forest Department, etc. attended the Conference.
Infrastructure, tourist amenities, and other various issues pertaining to the promotion of tourism in the Alwar and Sariska areas were discussed at the conference. Shri RK Suman, Regional Director (North), Ministry of Tourism presided over the Conference and urged travel trade members to promote this lesser-known region as there are so many possibilities to explore Alwar and Sariska as it has heritage, history, forts, adventure, culture, wildlife and nature. The next day, the group also paid a visit to Sariska National Park and got a chance to sighting a tiger.
The entire group members were astonished to witness the serenity and beauty of the gigantic Siliserh Lake and the charming Lake Palace Hotel.
The trip ended on a happy note.
