Since the opening of the Lindt Home of Chocolate in September 2020, Switzerland’s largest chocolate museum counted its 500,000th visitor last week. To celebrate, the lucky anniversary visitor family Hanif from Scotland was personally welcomed by one of the world-famous Maîtres Chocolatiers and the Managing Director of the Lindt Chocolate Competence Foundation and guided through the exhibition.
The museum at Schokoladenplatz 1 in Kilchberg is now one of the most visited museums in Switzerland. The imposing building, designed by architects Christ and Gantenbein, houses a multimedia exhibition, the largest free-standing chocolate fountain, the largest Lindt store in the world and Switzerland’s first Lindt Café. Likewise, visitors can design their own chocolate creations in the Chocolateria with the assistance of a Maître Chocolatier.

Since the beginning of this year, the museum has counted over 1,000 admissions daily, and as many as 2,000 on weekends.
