Vistara Upgrades The Experience On Delhi-Bali Route With Its State-Of-The-Art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner

Vistara grapples with a wave of flight cancellations and delays, affecting numerous routes including Delhi-Indore, Delhi-Srinagar, Mumbai-Kochi, and Bengaluru-Udaipur. The disruptions come amidst reports of a section of pilots taking sick leave in protest against the new salary structure introduced following the airline’s merger with Air India.

With several flights cancelled, passengers have faced inconvenience and raised concerns about their travel plans. In response, a spokesperson for Vistara addressed the situation, expressing concern for the inconvenience caused to travellers. The spokesperson reassured passengers that efforts are underway to minimise discomfort, stating, “Our teams are working towards minimising the discomfort to the customers. We have decided to temporarily reduce the number of flights we operate, to ensure adequate connectivity across our network.”

To accommodate affected passengers, Vistara has implemented several measures. The spokesperson informed, “We have also deployed larger aircraft like our B787-9 Dreamliner and A321neo on select domestic routes to combine flights or accommodate more number of customers, wherever possible.”

“We are offering alternate flight options or refunds to affected customers, as applicable. Once again, we understand that these disruptions have caused immense discomfort to our customers, and sincerely apologise to them for the same. We are working towards stabilising the situation and will resume operating our regular capacity very soon.”
