ITB Berlin 2024

The upcoming strike by the train drivers’ union GDL, starting Thursday, will restrict transport to the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, including Deutsche Bahn and Berlin’s S-Bahn. However, unaffected services such as metro (U-Bahn), trams, and buses remain available. Simultaneously, a strike by Ver.di involving Lufthansa’s ground staff from Thursday to Saturday could disrupt air travel. ITB Berlin organisers recommend staying updated on the latest developments.

For Alternative Routes:

  • Use alternative bus and U-Bahn options.
  • Check Berlin/Brandenburg public transport websites for information.
  • Utilize the DB Navigator app for the quickest route.

Selected Public Transport Options During Strikes:

  • U-Bahn lines: U2, U7 (final journey by bus), and bus routes 139, 143, M49, X34.

  • Limited parking is available on the exhibition grounds, with the ICC car park costing 15 euros during the event.
