The TAAI Nagpur Chapter recently organised an interesting session on the implementation of TCS for its member on June 24, 2023.
Irshad Mehdi, Chapter Chairman, took the initiative to organise this captive session for the members, which was conducted by Saket Bagadia, a renowned CA. The entire session was conducted on the inputs shared by GMJ and Co, who are an impanelled CA firm with TAAI National.
The session was earlier scheduled for two hours, however, due to a lot of queries and inquisitiveness by the members, the session was extended to almost three hours.
It was seen in the session that a lot of doubts related to TCS were cleared, and the members were now more aware of what procedures to follow while collecting TCS.
Close to 40 travel agencies participated in this session, and all the members present highly appreciated the initiative and have requested to organise one such session on GST as well.
