Shangri-La Sri Lanka has appointed Saharsh Vadhera as the Director of Sales and Marketing for both Colombo and Hambantota. With a distinguished career spanning over 16 years in the luxury hospitality sector, Saharsh brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise. Prior to joining the leadership team at Shangri-La Sri Lanka, he held the role of Director of Sales and Marketing at Shangri-La Bangalore, for over seven years. His professional journey has been shaped by renowned brands such as Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Embassy Developers, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Marriott International, and Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where he honed his skills in dynamic marketing, strategic sales, revenue management, and impactful public relations.

Saharsh’s commitment to enhancing brand equity, optimising revenue streams, and nurturing client relationships has consistently delivered exceptional results throughout his career. His proficiency extends to cultivating business development opportunities across international markets, demonstrating a keen understanding of diverse cultures and consumer behaviours.

A Certified Management Trainee in the rooms division from Hyatt Hotels Corporation and a graduate in Hospitality and Hotel Management from IHM – Lucknow, Saharsh embarked on his hospitality career in 2008, and is an alumnus of IHM Lucknow with a Bachelor of Science degree in hospitality and hotel administration.
