Resorts World Cruises today commenced its maiden voyage from Hong Kong to Sanya with the Resorts World One cruise ship. This marks the start of the 2 and 3-night Sanya cruises from Hong Kong, which depart twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays respectively every fortnight. With cruise fares starting at HK$1,200 per guest based on twin sharing, vacationers can hop on a Resorts World One cruise with ease to one of Hainan’s best go-to destinations. In conjunction with the Resorts World One inaugural sailing to Sanya, a special celebratory event was held on the ship prior to her departure from Hong Kong today. Signalling the start of her cruises to Sanya, the official ceremony was attended and officiated by Li Zhongguang, Deputy Director-General Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports of Hainan, together with Hong Kong’s Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism (Acting) Bureau, Lau Chun, JP, as well as Michael Goh, President of Resorts World Cruises. Subsequently, the Governor of Hainan and the Sanya Tourism Board continued their voyage aboard Resorts World One to Sanya, as more preparations were underway to welcome disembarking guests upon her inaugural arrival in Sanya the following day (Monday, 25 September 2023).
