Creative Travel Chaat Party

The much-awaited Creative Travel’s annual Chaat Party was celebrated over two days on January 27th and 28th, 2024, at the Kohli residence. Both days dawned bright and sunny, bringing welcome relief during Delhi-NCR’s coldest winter spell. With the who’s who of the travel trade in attendance, it was full of bonhomie and good cheer shared over mouth-watering chaat.

Initiated by the late Ram Kohli, a stalwart in the travel industry, the time-honoured tradition has been faithfully carried forth by the proud sons Rajeev and Rohit Kohli.

Rajeev Kohli, Joint Managing Director, Creative Travel, acknowledged the longstanding legacy, stating, “The Creative Travel Chaat Party predates me and Rohit. It is a legacy that has been going on for over 34 years. We did stop it a few years after our father passed, but we decided that it was time to bring it back.”

Rohit Kohli, Joint Managing Director, Creative Travel, traced the origins of the tradition back to the 90s era. “Our party has traditionally been one of the most popular events in the tourism calendar. Today, we are very proud that we have over 500 partners from across the industry present at the event. It is an incredible testament to our company and our partners who have kept us growing into what we are today,” he remarked

Rajeev expressed gratitude to industry partners, saying, “For us, it is just a way to thank all our partners and friends for all the support they have given us in the years gone by, and looking forward to a great 2024 for everybody.”

Rohit concluded, “We should all keep the India flag flying higher. We should not discount this destination; the India story should never be diluted. We always thank our partners for all that they do for us. It is never about how much business we do with anybody; it has always been about the relationship for us as a company.”
