Sarovar Hotels and Resorts has appointed Chandrayi Basuthakur as the new Director – National Sales.
Chandrayi Basuthakur is a seasoned professional with a remarkable career spanning over two decades in the hospitality industry. Her journey is marked by a wealth of experience and an illustrious track record of success with prestigious hospitality brands such as The Oberoi, Taj Hotels, Hyatt, The Claridges, Shangri-La, and Intercontinental.
Throughout her career, Chandrayi has consistently exhibited exceptional leadership qualities and sharp business acumen. Her achievements include spearheading the successful launch of properties, driving substantial business growth, long-range planning, nurturing client relationships, and consistently surpassing sales targets.
In her most recent assignment, Chandrayi Basuthakur spearheaded the Sales division at Orchid Hotels and Resorts, based out of Delhi. In her new role at Sarovar Hotels and Resorts, Chandrayi will assume direct oversight of all Sarovar Regional Sales Offices (RSOs). Additionally, she will actively collaborate with unit sales teams across Sarovar’s diverse portfolio to provide expert guidance on offline sales strategies. She will also play a key role in working closely with the Corporate Revenue, Commercial Projects, and Corporate Marketing teams, ensuring a holistic commercial approach to drive Sarovar Hotels’ continued growth and success.
