Le Méridien Amritsar has appointed K P Singh as the General Manager. K P Singh, who has over two decades of expertise in the premium and luxury hotel businesses and will oversee the senior management and operations teams strategically to strengthen the hotel’s revenue pillars.
K P Singh held multiple leading positions at premium five-star hotels in provinces like Bali, Sanya, Beijing, Shanghai in Asia, Dubai and Riyadh in the Middle East, and northern Virginia in the USA before moving to Amritsar. He has handled both operational and strategic responsibilities during the span of his career. He also has an extensive experience in food and beverage operations, hotel openings both nationally and internationally.
He has a dual diploma from the Hotel Institute Montreux, Switzerland, and an MBA degree from British Open University.
In his current role, he will be entrusted with an expanded spectrum of responsibilities, such as creating strategic plans, putting new ideas into practice in accordance with Marriott standards, enhancing operational and financial performance, and looking into opportunities for growth in the dynamic industry.
