The Moroccan National Tourism Office recently hosted a successful Familiarisation Trip for Indian tour operators from Mumbai, Delhi, and Ahmedabad, spanning from June 7 to 14, 2024. This immersive journey aimed to showcase Morocco’s diverse attractions and foster valuable connections between the two countries’ travel industries.

From the bustling streets of Casablanca to the enchanting allure of Marrakech, participants embarked on an unforgettable journey. They explored vibrant cityscapes, savoured the best of Moroccan and Indian cuisine, and marvelled at iconic landmarks such as the majestic Hassan II Mosque and Rabat’s historic Chellah site.

The adventure continued with a magical night at the Agafay Camp, where music and dance filled the serene desert atmosphere. The group also experienced the vibrant Jemaa el Fna square, indulged in shopping, and visited renowned sites such as the Jardin Majorelle Garden, the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, and the Bahia Palace, a breathtaking testament to Moroccan architecture and design from the late 19th century.

In Agadir, participants explored the bustling Souk El Marketplace, where they immersed themselves in the rich scents of spices and discovered the world-famous Argan oil products.

The Familiarization Trip highlights Morocco’s commitment to strengthening ties with the Indian travel market and showcasing its diverse cultural and historical attractions. The initiative is expected to boost tourism between the two countries and create lasting partnerships within the travel industry.
