Hilton and Middle East Nile Cruisers have announced the signing of the Waldorf Astoria Nile River Experience, a luxury river cruise that promises to transform the way travellers discover Egypt’s most iconic landmarks. Set to welcome its first guests in late 2026, the new experience will combine timeless elegance, immersive itineraries, and world-class service aboard Africa’s most legendary river.

Offering curated four- and six-night journeys between Luxor and Aswan, with private docking in both cities, the cruise will highlight Egypt’s cultural treasures. Guests will explore the grandeur of Luxor’s temples, the Valley of the Kings, and historic sites in Esna, Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Aswan. The experience will be anchored by Waldorf Astoria’s signature service, including dedicated personal concierges.

This year and beyond, the brand is set to define its global position with the anticipated opening of the legendary Waldorf Astoria New York, and debuting in destinations including the most recent openings in Osaka and Costa Rica, and into the future with Sydney, London, Jaipur and many more. This new destination experience offers guests a spectacular view of Egypt, and we look forward to welcoming guests aboard this one-of-a-kind experience when it launches next year.”
