Volt by TravClan, a global B2B travel API infrastructure provider, has announced a strategic partnership with Emerging Travel Group, which operates travel brands RateHawk, Roundtrip and ZenHotels. The partnership aims to source diverse and high-quality hotel inventory directly through Volt’s API platform.

The collaboration marks a significant milestone in Volt’s evolution as a global supplier, enabling international travel platforms to access competitively priced hotel inventory across India and Southeast Asia through fast, reliable and scalable APIs. By combining deep regional sourcing with robust technology infrastructure, the partnership addresses long-standing challenges faced by legacy travel systems, including fragmented inventory, slow response times that impact mobile conversions, and duplicate content that complicates booking experiences.

As travel platforms expand into high-growth markets such as India and Southeast Asia, these challenges intensify. Regional suppliers often lack the technical capabilities to integrate with global platforms, while global aggregators frequently lack strong local relationships to secure competitive rates. Through this partnership, Emerging Travel Group strengthens its Asian accommodation portfolio by leveraging Volt’s directly contracted supply network and API-first architecture.

Arun Bagaria, Co-Founder of TravClan, said, “We’re seeing a paradigm shift. The old model was about accumulating suppliers. The new model is about intelligent orchestration, connecting the right inventory to the right platforms through infrastructure that just works.”

Volt’s strategy brings together two historically separate approaches: building direct supplier relationships to improve commercial outcomes, and developing seamless API infrastructure for technical integration. The company has secured direct contracts with over 5,000 properties across Asia and the Middle East, while also maintaining connectivity with more than 50 global suppliers. This enables Volt to deliver access to over 200,000 accommodation options through a single, standardised API.

Volt’s API-first platform allows partners such as Emerging Travel Group, and particularly its B2B platform RateHawk, to instantly access thousands of properties with accurate content mapping, real-time availability and high-quality data. The integration ensures fast response times, a diverse inventory footprint spanning India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, and strong post-booking operational support. Every booking made through Volt is reconfirmed to ensure a smooth check-in experience and is covered under TravClan’s Booking Guarantee.

The partnership reflects a broader shift towards a more interconnected B2B travel ecosystem, where global aggregators and next-generation infrastructure providers collaborate to deliver richer content, faster integrations and improved performance.

Erik Akhmetgaliev, Regional Director for APAC at RateHawk, said, “TravClan brings genuine regional expertise combined with technology that matches high standards required by our B2B partners. While we already possess a strong inventory network of 2.9 million accommodation options, our focus is on further expanding it by adding high-quality inventory that converts.”

Looking ahead, Volt is positioned to play a foundational role as travel platforms increasingly adopt AI-driven personalisation. By integrating Volt APIs, partners can enable smarter itinerary building that combines hotels, flights and sightseeing, personalise recommendations based on traveller preferences and booking behaviour, and optimise pricing and availability in real time to improve conversions.
