Visit Qatar has announced the opening of registrations for the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Doha, scheduled to take place at Old Doha Port from March 18 to 20, 2027.
The international triathlon is set to become a new addition to Qatar’s sporting calendar, further strengthening the country’s position as a destination for sports tourism and major international events.
The tourism body is inviting athletes, endurance sports enthusiasts and fitness communities from Qatar and around the world to register for the event. The early registration phase offers preferential entry rates for a limited number of participants, providing an opportunity to secure a place in the first edition of the race.

In addition to the main race on March 20, the event programme will include the IRONKIDS race on March 19, creating a family-friendly sporting festival for participants and visitors of all ages.
According to Visit Qatar, the event is expected to attract competitors from around the world while showcasing Qatar’s sporting infrastructure and destination offerings.
