Visit Qatar has reiterated its commitment to global partners and stakeholders, with CEO Abdulaziz Ali Al-Mawlawi sharing a message that reflects the destination’s resilience and forward-looking approach as it enters its next phase of growth.
The letter highlights Qatar’s readiness, supported by established infrastructure, operational stability and a hospitality-led approach, while also outlining its response to recent challenges and continued focus on collaboration with industry stakeholders.
Addressing partners, Al-Mawlawi said, “In recent weeks, our region faced unprecedented circumstances. Yet through it all, we reaffirmed something fundamental, our values and our commitment to one another remain unwavering.” He also expressed appreciation for continued industry support, noting that partnerships have been integral to the destination’s progress.
Highlighting the response during the period, he said, “Our response was immediate and unequivocal, we were there to support them, without hesitation,” referring to efforts such as facilitating emergency visas, extended stays, and providing round-the-clock assistance to travellers.
He further emphasised the role of hospitality in shaping the experience, stating that the response reflected not only operational efficiency but also “human connection, trust, and genuine care.”
Looking ahead, Al-Mawlawi pointed to long-term growth and collaboration. He said, “Tourism is a long-term commitment. Those who invest in building hotels, developing experiences, and strengthening ecosystems do so with confidence in the stability of the environment. Our operational excellence remains steadfast, and our commitment to delivering exceptional service continues to be non-negotiable.”
Looking ahead, Al-Mawlawi said, “What we have demonstrated, under real-time conditions, is a reflection of that commitment. Your continued investment, support, and belief in excellence contribute meaningfully to shaping Qatar’s future as a global tourism destination. This is not a journey undertaken in isolation, it is one we move forward on, together.”
He added, “We now look ahead to welcoming international visitors back to Qatar very soon, inviting them to once again experience the warmth, hospitality, and richness that define our destination.”
