Vishwas Makhija, current President of the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI), has stepped down from his post citing health reasons. He, and the present team, took charge in January 2021 and made significant progress in moving forward ATOAI’s agenda over the past year in very trying circumstances. His resignation was regretfully accepted by the ATOAI Executive Committee, who also wished him well in his recovery.

Vaibhav Kala, currently serving as Vice President of ATOAI, will assume charge as the Officiating President of ATOAI till the next AGM later this year. The rest of the Office bearers will continue in their present roles. Vishwas Makhija will continue as a member of the Executive Committee, in an advisory capacity.
