ibis, one of Accor’s fastest-growing hospitality brands has announced the appointment of Vijayalakshmi P V as Director of Sales at ibis Kochi City Centre and Rathiesh Krishnan as Director of Sales at ibis Coimbatore.
The appointments form part of ibis’ strategy to strengthen its commercial leadership across key southern markets in India, with a focus on enhancing sales performance, strengthening corporate engagement and driving sustained revenue growth.
At ibis Kochi City Centre, Vijayalakshmi P V returns to the property after previously being part of its pre-opening team as Sales Manager. With over 12 years of professional experience, including more than eight years in hospitality sales, she most recently served as Assistant Director of Sales at Kochi Marriott Hotel.
She has also worked with Novotel Kochi Infopark and Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty, alongside prior experience at Ernst & Young as Senior Consultant. According to the company, her expertise spans hospitality sales, corporate engagement and revenue growth strategies.
Meanwhile, Rathiesh Krishnan joins ibis Coimbatore with over 17 years of hospitality experience focused primarily on South India markets.
Over the course of his career, he has worked with hospitality brands including Hyatt, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Ramada, ITC Hotels, The Rain Tree Hotels and Savera Hotels.
In his previous role with Hyatt as Senior Sales Manager, he managed key corporate accounts, revenue growth initiatives and long-term client relationships.
His expertise includes corporate and group sales, revenue strategy, contract negotiations and conference and events business development.
