VFS Global has opened a new Visa Application Centre in Bhubaneswar, aimed at catering to the growing demand for visa services in Odisha and surrounding regions. The facility marks the company’s second Visa Application Centre in eastern India.
The centre was jointly inaugurated by Mohan Charan Majhi and Yummi Talwar, Chief Operating Officer – South Asia, VFS Global, in the presence of dignitaries from the diplomatic community, including representatives from Austria, Italy, and Switzerland.

The ceremony was also attended by dignitaries from the diplomatic fraternity and the Indian government, including dignitaries from Austria, Italy, and Switzerland.
The new state-of-the-art facility is expected to significantly improve visa accessibility for residents of Odisha, who previously travelled to Kolkata for visa submissions. Spread across approximately 3,000 sq. ft., the centre is equipped with modern amenities designed to provide a comfortable and efficient application experience.
In its initial phase, the centre will process visa applications for multiple destinations, including the UK, Ireland, Austria, Estonia, Italy, Malta, Switzerland, Japan, Morocco, and Egypt, with plans to expand services to additional countries in the near future.

Located centrally in Bhubaneswar, the facility offers easy accessibility via public and private transport. With this addition, VFS Global continues to strengthen its presence in India, where it serves 53 countries through a network of over 560 Visa Application Centres across 20 cities.
