Uzbekistan Airways JSC organises roadshow in Goa, announces bi-weekly flights from Goa starting October 27

Uzbekistan Airways JSC, in collaboration with its Indian sales partner, Arya Enterprises, held an informative roadshow on October 9, 2024, in Goa. The event was organised to announce the airline’s upcoming launch of regular bi-weekly flights from North Goa’s new airport, starting from October 27, 2024.

The event, held at Vivanta Goa, Panaji, an IHCL property, was attended by key figures including H.E. Ambassador Sardor Rustambaev and Counsellor Ikboljon Soliev from the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan to India. Their presence underscored the strengthening ties between India and Uzbekistan in the aviation and tourism sectors.

Prominent tour companies from Uzbekistan, Asia Luxe, Orient Star, and Alpina Tour, also participated, highlighting the growing tourism potential from India to Uzbekistan. In addition, the roadshow attracted top tour operators, IATA agents, North Goa airport management, Ministry of Tourism representatives, and media personnel.

A major highlight of the evening was the distribution of three free round-trip tickets for the GOX-TAS-GOX route via a lucky draw. Attendees expressed enthusiasm for the launch of these new flights, engaging in fruitful discussions with airline representatives during the event, which concluded with an exclusive dinner.

Uzbekistan Airways JSC has been focusing on increasing its presence in India, recognising the growing demand for travel to the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region. The airline already operates daily flights from Delhi, and bi-weekly flights from Mumbai, and will soon introduce regular bi-weekly flights from North Goa starting on October 27, 2024.
