U.S. Embassy in India issues advisory on student visa compliance

On May 27, the U.S. Embassy in India issued an important advisory via Platform X (formerly Twitter), reminding international students of the critical need to comply with student visa regulations. The Embassy warned that students who drop out, skip classes, or leave their program of study without notifying their school may face visa revocation and lose eligibility for future U.S. visas.
