The trips aimed to amplify the allure of the islands, ensuring that the stories and promotions created reflect the true essence of this paradise. Organised by BRANDit, the trips welcomed three top-tier journalists and five travel agents from Once Experiences, Blueberry Travels, NCS Travel, and Travel Plug.

Reflecting on the success of these trips, Bernadette Willemin, Director General of Marketing for Tourism Seychelles, shared, “These immersive trips allow us to present the captivating beauty and vibrant culture of Seychelles to our partners. We are confident that their firsthand experiences will inspire others to visit. Familiarisation trips are an important part of our strategy, as they enable participating journalists to craft vivid, impactful stories for their audiences, while travel agents gain invaluable insights that help them promote our stunning destination more effectively.”

The meticulously planned itineraries offered travel agents a delightful blend of local and island-hopping experiences, providing an authentic taste of Seychelles. They enjoyed stays in a variety of hotels, from the serene Oasis Hotel Restaurant and Spa in Praslin to the luxurious Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort and Spa in Mahé. Their tour also included an indulgent stay at Club Med in Sainte Anne, a private island resort nestled within the breathtaking Sainte Anne Marine National Park.

For the media partners, the trip was an exuberant showcase of Seychelles’ luxury. They were hosted by Canopy by Hilton, an elegant new property in Mahé that displays artworks by three popular Seychellois artists. The second hotel to host them was the newly opened, ultra-exclusive Waldorf Astoria Seychelles on Platte Island.

During their stay in Seychelles, media participants savoured the ultimate island life, feasting on delectable Creole cuisine, sampling vibrant local Takamaka rum, and enjoying thrilling beach activities. This experience was designed to highlight what sets Seychelles apart from other Indian Ocean destinations.
