Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia

Tourism Malaysia has launched an online program which is dubbed as Malaysia Master Online Specialist Program. The launching of the online specialist program coincided with the TAFI’s (Travel Agents Federation of India) convention 2022 in Sarawak which was held from September 20-23. The online specialist program will be hosted on and executed by Travel Biz Monitor. Malaysia Tourism did a similar online program in the year 2012. India remains and has been one of the top source markets for Malaysia and has contributed 735,309 arrivals (+22 per cent) in 2019. The launch of the specialist program will provide a fillip to attract more tourists from India.

It is important to mention here that this was TAFI’s third convention in Malaysia and 484 members of the association participated in the event. Themed “Build Back Better” to strengthen the tourism industry and move towards a resilient economic recovery, the convention will highlight sustainability, advanced greening efforts, conservation and responsible tourism during its session.
