Tourism Malaysia, in collaboration with Sheeraz Tours, hosted an exclusive ‘Visit Malaysia 2026’ promotional evening in Lucknow, aimed at strengthening tourism ties and positioning Malaysia as a preferred destination for Indian travellers. The event saw participation from over 170 corporate and premium clients from Lucknow and nearby regions.
The evening brought Malaysia’s culture to life through a performance by the Tiungmas Arts troupe, which travelled from Malaysia, offering guests a glimpse into the country’s rich heritage and traditions. This was followed by a destination presentation showcasing Malaysia’s diverse tourism offerings, spanning leisure, luxury, culture, nature and shopping experiences.
Guests were also served an authentic Malaysian culinary spread, further enhancing the immersive experience. The event provided a strong platform for networking and engagement, helping to build awareness among key audiences.
The evening was attended by senior representatives from Sheeraz Tours, including S. M. A. Sheeraz, Managing Director; Hina Sheeraz, Director; and Aman, Product Head.
Distinguished attendees included Ahmad Johanif, Director, Tourism Malaysia (Delhi); Poonam Nautiyal, Marketing Manager, Tourism Malaysia; Sameer Sharma, Associate Director – UP & Uttarakhand, IndiGo; and Deepak Khare, State Head – UP, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan, Air India, reflecting strong industry collaboration.
Adding to the engagement, a lucky draw was conducted, with three couples winning Malaysia travel packages.
