The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced the “Surat Thani Green Fee with Meaning” campaign, inviting golf enthusiasts and travelers to enjoy an exclusive promotional offer while experiencing sustainable tourism in the stunning landscapes of Surat Thani. The campaign runs from January 15 to May 31, 2025, and is a collaboration with Ratchaprapa Dam Golf Course and the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand.

As part of the initiative, the first 600 golfers can avail themselves of a 50 per cent discount on Green Fees on both weekdays and weekends. While caddy and golf cart fees are not included, the offer provides a unique chance to play golf amidst the serene surroundings of Ratchaprapa Dam, located within Khao Sok National Park.

Mantana Bhuthorarak, Director of TAT Surat Thani Office, said, “This campaign positions Surat Thani as a destination for golfers while supporting sustainable tourism. Visitors can immerse themselves in the area’s stunning landscapes and rich culture while contributing to the local economy. It’s more than just a round of golf – it’s an inspiring journey that creates meaningful connections.”

The programme highlights the natural beauty of Surat Thani and encourages exploration of Ratchaprapa Dam, renowned for its dramatic scenery and ecotourism excellence. Visitors can enhance their experience by taking a boat from Cheow Lan pier to explore attractions such as Khao Sam Kloe, Pra Kie Phet Cave, Tham Thalu, and tranquil floating accommodations.

Surat Thani’s excellent connectivity and diverse attractions make it ideal for blending recreation with relaxation. By promoting eco-conscious travel and cultural immersion, the campaign ensures a memorable and impactful experience for all visitors.
