Mount Titlis has introduced a new high-altitude attraction with the unveiling of the TITLIS Tower, a landmark experience combining architecture, panoramic alpine views, dining and glacier experiences at an altitude of 3,020 metres.
Designed by renowned Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron, the TITLIS Tower transforms a former communication tower into a contemporary visitor experience overlooking the glacier landscape of the Swiss Alps.
According to TITLIS, the development has been designed to blend architecture, hospitality and immersive alpine experiences while offering visitors a completely new perspective of the mountain destination.

A major highlight of the tower is the Horizon Deck, a viewing platform positioned 55 metres above the glacier, offering panoramic views across the Alps and, on clear days, extending towards France, Italy and Germany.
The tower also introduces Joseph’s Restaurant and Alpine Lounge, bringing together casual fine dining, regional alpine favourites and relaxed lounge experiences complemented by sweeping mountain and glacier views. Joseph’s Restaurant is scheduled to open on June 3, 2026.
Beyond the new tower experience, visitors to TITLIS can continue to explore some of the destination’s signature attractions including the Rotair, recognised as the world’s first revolving cable car, and the TITLIS Cliff Walk, promoted as Europe’s highest suspension bridge.
The glacier destination offers year-round alpine experiences ranging from sightseeing and snow activities to panoramic mountain excursions and glacier exploration experiences.
Located approximately 30 minutes from Lucerne, the alpine village of Engelberg serves as the gateway to TITLIS and is known for its boutique shopping, regional cuisine and traditional Swiss hospitality.
