The Westin Resort and Spa, Himalayas has announced the appointment of Chinmaya Chikkamath as its new General Manager. With more than 17 years of experience across Marriott International’s hotels in India, he brings extensive expertise in luxury hospitality, operations, and strategic leadership.
Chikkamath began his career in hotel operations and has held several key leadership roles within prominent Marriott properties. He previously served as Director of Rooms at JW Marriott Hotel Pune and later as Director of Operations at Courtyard by Marriott Pune Hinjewadi, where he played a significant role in enhancing service standards, improving operational efficiencies, and elevating guest satisfaction frameworks. In March 2023, he was appointed General Manager at Marriott Suites Pune, marking a major milestone in his career and underscoring his ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver strong operational outcomes.
