The Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi has announced a revision in fees for visa applications, legalisation and consular services in India, with the new rates set to come into effect from April 27, 2026 onwards until further notice.
As per the updated structure, the fee for a transit visa has been set at INR 2,500, while a single-entry tourist visa will cost INR 3,000 and a multiple-entry tourist visa INR 13,500. Under the non-immigrant visa category, fees range from INR 7,000 for a single-entry visa to INR 30,000 for multiple-entry visas, including long-term options such as three-year and five-year permits.
The SMART Visa category sees higher fee brackets, starting at INR 30,000 for a one-year multiple-entry visa and going up to INR 120,000 for a four-year multiple-entry visa. The Long-Term Resident (LTR) Visa has been priced at INR 140,000, while the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) will cost INR 30,000.
In addition to visa fees, the embassy has also revised charges for legalization services, which will now be INR 1,400 across all categories.
Consular service fees have also been updated, with an ordinary passport (five years) priced at INR 3,000 and a 10-year passport at INR 4,000. An emergency passport will cost INR 550, while passport endorsement services are set at INR 300.
The revised fee structure will be applicable at the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi as well as Royal Thai Consulates-General across India.
