The Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) Northern India Chapter hosted its members meet at The Park, New Delhi, on March 18, 2026, bringing together over 100 member agents and travel media representatives.
The meeting was chaired by Dinesh Kumar, Chairman, TAFI Northern India Chapter, who briefed members on the latest initiatives undertaken by the chapter. He also announced that 19 new members have joined since August 2025, taking the chapter’s total strength to over 330 members. The newly inducted members were formally welcomed and presented with their membership certificates.
Anil Kalsi, National Vice President, TAFI, addressed the gathering and provided an update on the TAFI joint bank guarantee scheme, highlighting that over 250 agents have already benefited from the initiative.
The event also featured insights from Dr. Subhash Goyal, Chairman, STIC Travel Group, who shared his perspective on the current geopolitical landscape and its impact on the travel industry.
Product presentations were delivered by Asego and myPartner by MakeMyTrip, offering members updates on their offerings. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Charu Arora, Executive Committee Member, TAFI Northern India Chapter.
