StarDream Cruises has announced a reduction in fuel surcharges across its regional deployments, reflecting improving fuel market conditions and the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering greater value to guests sailing on its fleet.
Effective for sailings departing on or after June 26, 2026, guests travelling on cruises from Singapore and Malaysia will benefit from a full waiver of fuel surcharges. Meanwhile, passengers sailing from Taiwan and Hong Kong will receive a 50 per cent reduction in the current fuel surcharge.
The revised surcharge structure applies across the company’s regional brands and vessels, including Genting Dream, Star Navigator and Star Voyager. According to StarDream Cruises, the updated policy takes into account the operational requirements of its different deployments while reflecting the gradual stabilisation of global fuel prices.
Commenting on the announcement, Michael Goh, President of StarDream Cruises, said, “As fuel prices have continued to stabilize, we are pleased to reduce and, where possible, fully waive the fuel surcharge across our deployments. We have always taken a transparent approach to fuel surcharges, introducing them only when necessary and reviewing them regularly. As operating conditions improve, we believe it is important to pass these benefits on to our guests.”
