StarCruises has announced the launch of three special five-night cruise itineraries from Hong Kong in 2026 aboard Star Voyager, offering travellers extended voyages to destinations in Okinawa (Japan), Vietnam and Sanya. The new sailings are designed to provide destination-rich experiences for families, couples and holidaymakers seeking longer cruise holidays from Hong Kong.
The newly introduced voyages include two ‘Okinawa Adventure’ cruises and one ‘Enchanting Vietnam and Sanya’ itinerary, expanding the cruise line’s existing programme of short getaways from Hong Kong.
Commenting on the announcement, Michael Goh, President, StarDream Cruises, said, “We are delighted to introduce these special 5 Night cruises from Hong Kong as part of our continued commitment to offering more exciting and diverse vacation options for our guests. With the addition of Okinawa, Vietnam and Sanya, travellers can look forward to discovering stunning destinations while enjoying the vibrant onboard experiences aboard Star Voyager. Whether it’s a quick getaway or a longer holiday, we are proud to provide convenient sailings from Hong Kong that combine comfort, exploration and unforgettable moments at sea.”
The Okinawa Adventure cruises will depart on March 22, 2026, sailing to Miyakojima and Naha, and on May 3, 2026, visiting Ishigaki and Naha. These itineraries highlight the scenic beauty and cultural heritage of Japan’s Okinawa region, known for its crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches and distinct Ryukyu culture. Guests will have the opportunity to explore destinations such as Shurijo Castle in Naha and the coastal landscapes of Miyakojima and Ishigaki.
The third itinerary, the ‘Enchanting Vietnam & Sanya Cruise,’ will depart on April 26, 2026, sailing to Halong Bay, Da Nang and Sanya. The voyage will offer travellers a mix of natural wonders and cultural experiences, including the iconic limestone formations of Halong Bay, the coastal charm of Da Nang, and the tropical beaches of Sanya.
These new five-night sailings complement StarCruises’ existing short cruise offerings from Hong Kong. The cruise line currently operates three-night ‘Tropical Escape to Sanya’ sailings, departing on Sundays, along with two-night ‘Cultural Discovery Cruise to Xiamen’ on Wednesdays and two-night ‘Weekend Sea Breeze Cruise’ on Fridays.
According to the company, the combination of short and extended itineraries offers travellers flexible cruise options ranging from quick weekend escapes to longer destination-focused voyages.
Bookings for StarCruises’ two- and three-night sailings are currently open, while reservations for the new five-night cruises will open from March 13, 2026, through the company’s website and authorised travel agents. The cruise line expects the new itineraries to further strengthen Hong Kong’s position as a key cruise departure hub in the region.
