For the first time, Sri Lanka is actively promoting its wedding offerings in India. It offered exclusive networking sessions, immersive experiences, and Introduced tailor-made wedding concepts, demonstrating Sri Lanka’s unmatched ability to host both traditional Indian ceremonies and contemporary luxury celebrations.

Strong participation from the Sri Lankan contingency, highlighted a collaborative spirit and received an enthusiastic reception in India showcasing the immense potential of a thriving cross-border wedding tourism market.

In 2024 alone, the island hosted over 30 large Indian weddings with more than 500 guests each, alongside 50 intimate celebrations.
