The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has suspended the travel agent licence of Vacanza Global Travels Pte. Ltd. (Licence No. TA03314) with effect from June 13, 2026, under the provisions of the Travel Agents Act 1975.
According to STB, the suspension was imposed after the travel agency failed to meet the minimum financial requirements mandated for licensed travel agents in Singapore. Under Regulation 9(1)(b) of the Travel Agents Regulations 2017, travel agents holding a general licence are required to maintain a minimum net value of SGD 100,000 at all times.
The suspension will remain in place until Vacanza Global Travels provides proof that it has restored its net value to at least SGD 100,000, or for a maximum period of six months, whichever occurs earlier.
STB stated that if the company fails to meet the prescribed financial requirements by the end of the suspension period, its travel agent licence may be revoked.
During the suspension period, Vacanza Global Travels will be permitted to fulfil its existing obligations to customers but will not be allowed to accept any new travel bookings or conduct new travel agent activities.
The tourism authority reiterated that it takes a serious view of non-compliance within the travel industry and will continue to take appropriate action to safeguard the reputation and integrity of Singapore’s travel sector. STB also warned that any travel agent found accepting new bookings while under suspension would face enforcement action.
The authority advised consumers and industry stakeholders to refer to the Travel Agents and Tourist Guides Licensing System (TRUST) for the latest information on licensed travel agents in Singapore. Licensing-related queries can also be directed to STB through its designated channels.
