Roseate Hotels and Resorts, the luxury hospitality brand of the Bird Group, has signed The Roseate Bhimtal, a boutique lakeside property overlooking Bhimtal Lake in Uttarakhand. Scheduled to open in December 2026, the hotel will mark the brand’s first management property in India, strengthening its presence in the country’s growing luxury leisure segment.
Nestled in the Kumaon hills, The Roseate Bhimtal will feature 30 elegantly designed rooms, each offering uninterrupted views of the tranquil lake. The resort will focus on personalised experiences that combine nature, wellness and refined hospitality.
The property is approximately five hours by road from Delhi, about 45 minutes from Nainital, and around one hour from Pantnagar Airport, making it easily accessible for travellers seeking a peaceful mountain retreat. Surrounded by forested hills and the calm waters of Bhimtal Lake, the resort aims to offer an immersive environment centred on relaxation and quiet luxury.

The estate will undergo strategic refurbishment before opening later this year. With its lakeside setting, curated experiences and personalised service, The Roseate Bhimtal is expected to emerge as a distinctive luxury retreat in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand.
