reclaim, a start-up specialising in transportation, logistics, supply chain and storage solutions, is expanding its operations to Miami and the surrounding metropolitan area. From late February, the company will begin the phased rollout of its luggage delivery services for passengers travelling through Miami International Airport (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL).

In the initial phase, reclaim will offer carry-on luggage delivery from a traveller’s doorstep directly to the pre-security airport lobby. By spring, the company plans to introduce its Remote Luggage Check-in service, expanding its portfolio to further reduce friction in the airport journey for both leisure and business travellers. The expansion targets two of the most significant aviation gateways in the United States, aiming to simplify travel through high-traffic hubs.

Miami International Airport serves over 90 airlines and is the second-busiest US gateway for international passengers, and the leading hub for travel to Latin America and the Caribbean, handling more than 55.3 million passengers in 2025. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport caters to 25 airlines, over 135 destinations and approximately 35 million passengers annually.

Commenting on the expansion, Akmann Van-Mary, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of reclaim, said, “After launching our luggage delivery service in Atlanta, the first ever in North America, back in January, we are ready to revolutionize baggage handling in Miami’s metropolitan area. Greater Miami hosts many visitors every year: from business travelers and tourists attracted by its beaches, malls and vibrant cultural life to cruise passengers, concertgoers and sport fans. We are now ready to make travel easier, lighter, and stress free for them, while helping airports, airlines and accommodation providers to enhance the experience for their customers and benefit from additional ancillary revenue.”

Travellers can book the service via helloreclaim.com, with luggage collected up to six hours prior to departure. Each bag is sealed with tamper-proof tracking tags, enabling real-time monitoring through reclaim’s mobile app, SMS or email updates. The service is TSA-compliant and includes basic insurance, with options for enhanced coverage.

To support its technology framework, reclaim has partnered with SITA to integrate the service with existing airport systems, while continuing collaboration with Transportation Security Administration across North America.

First launched at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, reclaim’s expansion strategy includes further US and Canadian cities, alongside partnerships with hotels, airlines, credit card companies and loyalty programmes. The service is also positioned to support large-scale events such as the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, as well as major conferences and sporting events where baggage handling remains a key operational challenge.
