IndiGo has announced the appointment of Rashmi Soni as its new Vice President – Corporate Communications. She takes over from C. Leekha, who has decided to move on from the organization to explore new opportunities.
In a statement, IndiGo expressed its gratitude to Leekha for her significant contributions over the past six years, including during the challenging COVID-19 period.

Rashmi Soni joins IndiGo with an impressive 28-year career in corporate communications, having held leadership roles at several multinational technology and aviation companies. She previously worked with PayU and has been associated with global brands like Adobe, Tata Teleservices, Ericsson, and Hughes Software Systems (now Aricent). Soni also served as Vice President & Head of Corporate Communication at Vistara, where she was part of the airline’s launch team.
