She delivers freedom, flexibility and thoughtfully curated experiences, allowing guests to enjoy their vacation exactly how they want, with ease. This ship represents the continued evolution of our vision and the incredible work behind an award-winning class of ships. We are deeply appreciative of the world-class architects and designers, as well as our talented partners at Fincantieri who brought Norwegian Luna to life. We’re proud to continue this strong partnership as we look ahead to building more exceptional NCL vessels together over the next decade.”

The ship features a range of attractions designed for families and leisure travellers alike. Highlights include the Aqua Slidecoaster, a hybrid waterslide-rollercoaster attraction recognised as the “Best Water Park Ride/Attraction” by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. Other features include the Luna Midway, an outdoor amusement-style zone with carnival-inspired games, and the Moon Climber, a multi-level obstacle course designed for both adults and children. Interactive entertainment spaces include the Luna Game Zone, offering arcade and virtual reality experiences, and the Glow Court, a high-tech sports and social venue with an LED floor that transforms into a nightclub setting in the evening.
For relaxation, guests can visit the Mandara Spa, known for its wellness treatments, or unwind at the adults-only Vibe Beach Club. Evening entertainment onboard includes productions such as “Elton: A Celebration of Elton John”, a tribute show dedicated to the legendary musician, and “HIKO: Innovation Meets Wonder,” a multimedia performance blending acrobatics, dance and visual effects. Popular live-music venue Syd Norman’s Pour House will also return with a new show titled “A Tribute to Eagles.”
Dining options onboard range from complimentary main dining rooms serving globally inspired menus to specialty venues such as Le Bistro, NCL’s signature French restaurant, and Sukhothai, a Thai dining concept. The ship also features the Indulge Food Hall, which offers multiple food stations serving international cuisine, including Indian dishes, smokehouse favourites, noodle bowls and plant-based options.
Accommodation options cater to a wide range of travellers, including solo cruisers, families and luxury guests. At the top end is The Haven by Norwegian, the brand’s exclusive ship-within-a-ship concept that provides private suites, exclusive lounges and dining areas, along with dedicated butler and concierge service.
Luigi Matarazzo, General Manager of Fincantieri’s Merchant Ships Division, said, “We are proud to deliver Norwegian Luna, a ship that truly reflects our ability to interpret and anticipate the evolution of the global cruise industry. This milestone further strengthens the long-standing collaboration between Fincantieri and NCL, built on a shared commitment to innovation. The Prima Plus Class sets a new benchmark for the industry, thanks to cutting-edge design solutions and a level of construction excellence showcased by our Marghera shipyard.
