Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has announced the appointment of Hikmat Singh Ayer as Officiating Chief Executive Officer following a decision by Nepal’s Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
Ayer, who currently serves as Senior Director at NTB, has been associated with the organisation for more than 25 years and has led several key departments during his tenure.
He has played an important role in tourism promotion, destination marketing, programme coordination, policy implementation and the execution of national and international tourism initiatives for Nepal.
In his new role as Officiating CEO, Ayer will oversee the day-to-day administration of the Board while continuing to lead efforts aimed at strengthening Nepal’s positioning as a leading global tourism destination.
