The Government of Madhya Pradesh organised the MP–UP Sahyog Sammelan in Varanasi on March 31, 2026, at Ramada, Varanasi.
On the sidelines, a high-level round table was convened to strengthen tourism coordination, attract investment, and foster strategic cooperation between Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
The Madhya Pradesh delegation was led by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, accompanied by Dr. Ilayaraja T., IAS, Managing Director, MPSTDC and Secretary, Tourism; Dr. Abhay Arvind Bedekar, IAS, Additional Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board; and Mahendra Pratap Singh, Chairman, Tourism Committee, FICCI Madhya Pradesh.
The Uttar Pradesh delegation was led by Prateek Hira, Chairman, Tourism Committee, FICCI Uttar Pradesh, along with Cabinet Ministers Rakesh Sachan and Nand Gopal Gupta, and a 15-member delegation comprising river cruise operators, hoteliers, tour operators, and investors.
During the interaction, the Chief Minister assured full support to investors, highlighting incentives under Madhya Pradesh’s tourism policy. Prateek Hira extended unconditional support on behalf of FICCI Uttar Pradesh, while Mahendra Pratap Singh reciprocated the sentiment, expressing optimism about the collaborative path ahead.
