The Ministry of Tourism’s Northern Regional Office is set to host the second Mahabharata Circuit Conference and Familiarization Tour, a key initiative to showcase the Kurukshetra region’s historical and cultural richness. The event, scheduled from November 4th to 6th, will gather around 130 participants, including tourism professionals, media representatives, and officials from various tourism departments.
The conference promises to offer delegates an immersive journey through Kurukshetra’s most significant cultural and historical sites, highlighting the region’s deep mythological and spiritual heritage. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore iconic landmarks such as the Brahma Sarovar, a revered water body with spiritual importance, the Sri Krishna Museum, dedicated to preserving artefacts and stories associated with Lord Krishna, and Jyotisar, believed to be the sacred site where the Bhagavad Gita was delivered.
