Madifushi Private Island Maldives, in collaboration with Tatabye Tours, hosted exclusive travel trade showcases in Bengaluru on May 5 and Hyderabad on May 7 as part of its India outreach programme aimed at strengthening engagement with the Indian travel trade.

The events brought together travel agents from both cities for networking sessions, resort presentations and discussions centred around the growing demand for premium Maldivian experiences among Indian travellers, while also highlighting the resort’s luxury offerings and partnership opportunities.

Nestled in the heart of Meemu Atoll, approximately a 35-minute seaplane journey from Male, Madifushi Private Island Maldives, offers an exclusive luxury retreat surrounded by the natural beauty of the Maldives. Opened in 2023, the resort features 80 villas, comprising 30 Beach Villas and 50 Water Villas, each equipped with a private pool. Designed to blend contemporary elegance with Maldivian aesthetics, the villas offer spacious accommodation, with the smallest Beach Villa spanning 143 square metres. The property also offers curated dining experiences, wellness facilities and personalised services aimed at luxury leisure travellers and honeymooners.

Ali Shakir, Group General Manager, Madifushi Private Island Maldives, said, “Hyderabad and Bengaluru each offered distinctly unique experiences. In Bengaluru, agents were more focused on understanding the brand and evaluating its market potential, while in Hyderabad, the trade partners already had strong product knowledge and were keen on benchmarking and closing deals. We are extremely satisfied with the participation in both cities, the quality of interactions, and the insightful questions exchanged. We truly enjoy these sessions and look forward to many more in the future.”

Ibrahim Inad, Commercial Director, Madifushi Private Island Maldives, said, “Over the last few days, we had the opportunity to experience two dynamic Indian cities, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, and the response we witnessed was truly phenomenal. The travel agents we engaged with were highly productive, and the interactions were insightful and engaging throughout. Across both cities, we connected with more than 150 agents and were delighted to introduce and showcase our exceptional products to them. The enthusiasm, interest, and positive response we received have been incredibly encouraging.

Roshan Jain, Founder and Director of Sales and Marketing, Tatabye Tours, said, “At Tatabye, we believe meaningful collaborations create memorable journeys. Our association with Madifushi Private Island Maldives as co-host for the Bangalore and Hyderabad showcases is a testament to our vision of delivering elevated Maldivian luxury experiences to the Indian travel community.”

The roadshow series will continue in Delhi on May 9 and Mumbai on May 11.
