LOT Polish Airlines to fly to Iceland from April 2025

LOT Polish Airlines has announced the launch of a new route connecting Warsaw to Iceland, set to begin on April 12, 2025.  Iceland – the world’s largest volcanic island and known for its rugged nature with geysers, glaciers and waterfalls – becomes the latest addition to LOT Polish Airlines’ growing route network. The Polish airline, which is a member of Star Alliance for more than 20 years, will connect its global hub in Warsaw with Keflavik Airport on the outskirts of the Icelandic capital Reykjavik.

The service will run four times a week. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, flight LO 499 will depart from Warsaw at 21:35 and arrive in Reykjavik at 23:55 local time, with a flight duration of approximately 4 hours and 20 minutes. On Sundays, flight LO 499 will depart slightly later, at 21:50, arriving in Reykjavik at 00:10. Return flights, designated as LO 500, will leave Keflavik at 00:45 local time and arrive in Warsaw at 6:45.
