LAAX, Switzerland’s premium and innovation-led mountain destination, hosted two curated networking evenings in Mumbai on 23 and 24 February, further strengthening its engagement with the Indian travel trade community.
With Claude Bravi, Director of Customer Performance Management at LAAX, visiting from Switzerland, the destination adopted a dual-format approach to reflect its multifaceted positioning and year-round appeal.
The first evening, held at a contemporary lounge in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), embraced a relaxed networking format that encouraged open dialogue around LAAX’s globally recognised freestyle culture, design-forward hospitality, and growing resonance among Indian travellers.

The second gathering took place at the Residence of the Swiss Consul General in Mumbai, offering a more formal and intimate setting. The evening highlighted LAAX’s Swiss heritage, innovation-led mountain infrastructure, and its Greenstyle sustainability initiatives, which position the destination as a forward-thinking alpine ecosystem.

The dual-format enabled LAAX to engage partners across segments while maintaining the character and positioning unique to each experience.

Claude Bravi commented, “LAAX is not defined by a single season. While we are globally recognised for our winter excellence and freestyle culture, we are equally committed to positioning LAAX as a dynamic, year-round alpine destination. From summer hiking and biking, activities and attractions to lifestyle events, architecture and sustainability innovation, LAAX represents a unique mountain leisure ecosystem. India is a strategic growth market for us, and we see strong potential in introducing this broader, all-season vision to Indian travellers.”
The evenings were curated and hosted by Nikita Rawtani, Founder of TravelGyaan and India Representative for LAAX, who has been spearheading market development efforts in the region.

Nikita Rawtani said, “Our objective was to reflect the dual spirit of LAAX through two distinct experiences, one contemporary and relaxed, the other a bit more elegant. Both evenings allowed us to strengthen meaningful partnerships while showcasing LAAX as a destination that blends freestyle energy, alpine design and forward-thinking sustainability.”
