The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), South Korea’s official National Tourism Organization under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, has appointed Cho Yoonmi as the new Director of its New Delhi Office, effective June 30, 2026.
Cho Yoonmi brings more than 25 years of experience with the Korea Tourism Organization, offering extensive institutional knowledge and deep expertise in promoting South Korea as a tourism destination.
In her new role, Cho Yoonmi will lead KTO India’s efforts to deepen Korea’s presence in the Indian travel market.
Commenting on her appointment, Cho Yoonmi said, “With 25 years at KTO, I have seen India become one of the most important and fastest-growing markets for Korea tourism. The bond between India and Korea has only grown stronger over the years, and I’ll be working closely with industry partners to take Korea closer to becoming the ultimate destination for Indian travellers.”
Under her leadership, KTO India will expand its efforts across key Indian cities, deepen existing partnerships, and roll out initiatives that go beyond conventional tourism promotion, tapping into the growing appetite among Indians for immersive, experience-led travel to Korea.
