Kansai Airports Kobe is set to open and commence operations of ‘Lounge KOBE’ at Kobe Airport Terminal 2 on May 21, 2026.

Located within the international departure waiting area of Terminal 2, the new airline lounge has been designed to reflect the identity and atmosphere of Kobe as a port city.

According to Kansai Airports Kobe, the lounge interior incorporates design elements inspired by the city, including Kobe tartan-patterned walls and carpets themed around the sea, creating a chic and contemporary ambience for travellers.

The lounge will also offer dining experiences featuring local ingredients and regional cuisine from Kobe and Hyogo Prefecture, aiming to provide guests with an authentic local experience before departure.

The airport operator stated that the new facility has been developed to offer passengers a comfortable and relaxing environment while enhancing the overall international travel experience at Kobe Airport.

Kansai Airports Group added that it will continue working towards improving customer convenience and delivering seamless, enjoyable and high-quality travel experiences across its airport network.
