ITA Airways has announced the resumption of its flights between Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport and Rome Fiumicino, starting from September 5, 2024. The airline will initially operate a daily daytime service, reconnecting the two cities with the following schedule:
Flight AZ807: Tel Aviv to Rome Fiumicino, departing from Tel Aviv at 2:30 p.m. (local time) and arriving in Rome at 5:15 p.m. (local time).
Flight AZ806: Rome Fiumicino to Tel Aviv, departing from Rome at 9:10 a.m. (local time) and arriving in Tel Aviv at 1:30 p.m. (local time).
In addition to these daytime services, ITA Airways plans to resume nighttime flights starting October 1st. These include AZ809 from Tel Aviv to Rome and AZ810 from Rome to Tel Aviv, which will remain suspended until September 30th.
The airline has stated that it will continue to closely monitor geopolitical developments in the Middle East and assess their potential impact on flight operations to ensure the safety and reliability of its services.
