IndiGo partners with Bluebox Aviation

IndiGo and Bluebox Aviation Systems have announced a strategic partnership to introduce a next-generation digital inflight experience for IndiGo passengers. Powered by Blueview, Bluebox’s modular digital services platform, the system will be integrated as a line-fit solution on Airbus’ Open Software Platform (OSP) for IndiGo’s upcoming A321XLR fleet.

With this deployment, IndiGo becomes India’s first airline to integrate Blueview on Airbus OSP, ensuring access to its inflight entertainment and digital services from the aircraft’s very first flight—without the need for retrofitting.

Passengers travelling on IndiGo’s A321XLR aircraft will be able to enjoy a wide range of digital services directly on their personal electronic devices, including:

  • A rich inflight entertainment (IFE) library of movies, TV shows, audio, and games
  • An interactive moving map for real-time flight tracking
  • A sleek, engaging graphical user interface (GUI) aligned with IndiGo’s brand identity
  • Access to digital dining menus
