IndiGo has introduced ‘IndiGo Lite’, a new entry-level Economy Class fare designed for passengers travelling with only cabin baggage. The new fare will be available for bookings through IndiGo’s direct channels, including its website, mobile application and contact centre, from July 1, 2026, for travel commencing July 15, 2026.
The fare will be offered across IndiGo’s domestic and international non-stop routes for one-way, round-trip and multi-city bookings, and will be available for both adult and child passengers.
IndiGo Lite is aimed at travellers who prefer to pay only for the services they use. The fare includes an auto-assigned seat at no extra charge and a cabin baggage allowance of up to 7 kg. Customers can personalise their journey by purchasing optional add-ons such as check-in baggage, preferred seats, meals and priority services, including Fast Forward, either through IndiGo’s website or at the airport up to one hour before departure.
Passengers booking IndiGo Lite will continue to earn and redeem IndiGo BluChip loyalty points, ensuring access to the airline’s rewards programme across all fare categories.

With the introduction of IndiGo Lite, the airline has expanded its 6E Ways to Fly portfolio, which now includes Saver, Flexi Plus, IndiGo UpFront, IndiGoStretch, Stretch+ and the new Lite fare. The expanded range offers travellers greater flexibility to choose a fare based on their budget, travel preferences and service requirements.
