IndiGo has announced increased frequencies on its recently launched long-haul routes connecting Mumbai with Amsterdam and Manchester, following robust passenger demand. Effective September 20, 2025, the airline will operate six flights per week between Mumbai and Amsterdam, further increasing to a daily service starting October 13, 2025. Additionally, flights between Mumbai and Manchester will be enhanced to four times a week from 22 September 2025. Bookings for these enhanced services are now open on the IndiGo website and mobile app.
The airline commenced operations on both routes in early July 2025, deploying its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft on damp lease from Norse Atlantic Airways. To support its long-haul expansion strategy, IndiGo is set to receive five more Boeing 787-9 aircraft within the current financial year, with the first expected by mid-September.
